HEVC
This document provides the second draft of HEVC Screen Content Coding extensions conformance testing.
The JCT-VC released HEVC Test Model 16.12 software following its 24th meeting in Geneva. This document serves as an overview of HEVC Version 1 and the Range Extensions of HEVC Version 2, and also provides an encoder-side description of the HM-16.12 software.
This document provides a draft test plan for verification of the coding performance of HEVC screen content coding extensions. It describes a set of test conditions under consideration and presents a preliminary work plan for test preparation.
This draft amendment is in a preliminary (working draft) stage of development toward specifying FU and FN descriptions supporting the implementation of the HEVC (ISO/IEC 23008-2) Main 10 Profile and extensions for scalable HEVC (SHVC) and multiparser parallel processing implementations.
This document reports results of a verification test of the encoding of HDR (High Dynamic Range) video content using the HEVC Main 10 profile, with and without the use of particular conversion and coding practices for HDR video coding that are under study in preparation of an upcoming technical report. The test was conducted according to the test plan described in JCTVC-W1018.
SHVC, the scalable form of HEVC, codes video data of different qualities into layers, and allows subsets of the layers of video data to be extracted and used on their own. Verification tests of SHVC have been conducted to evaluate the amount of savings that can be achieved by SHVC compared to HEVC simulcast, where video data of different qualities are separately coded into independent bitstreams using HEVC.
This document is a draft prepared for study of potential modifications to the text of the HEVC standard to enable additional picture repetition periods.
This proposed draft amendment to the HEVC standard adds support for ITU-T BT.[HDR-TV] to the standard, particularly including specifying a code point for ICtCp colour representation.
The JCT-VC established HEVC screen content coding test model 7 at its 23rd meeting (February 19th to 26th, 2016, San Diego, USA). This document serves as a source of general tutorial information and also provides an encoder-side description of test model 7.
The JCT-VC established the HEVC Test Model 16.9 at its 23rd meeting in San Diego. This document serves as an overview of HEVC Version 1 and the Range Extensions of HEVC Version 2 and also provides an encoder-side description of the HM-16.9 software.
