ISO/IEC 23090-8 defines the network-based media processing (NBMP) specification. NBMP defines the architecture, processing model, APIs, metadata, and some reference functions. The implementation guidelines will provide explanations and examples of how to use NBMP. 

Part 11 of ISO/IEC 23090 will contain the implementation guidelines for the usage of NBMP.
