This document provides the Text of ISO/IEC 23008-2:2013/PDAM5 Screen Content Coding (SCC) Extensions for High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), corresponding to JCTVC-T1005 of the Joint Collaborative Team on video Coding (JCT-VC) of ITU-T WP3/16 and ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29/WG 11. The SCC extensions are a significant enhancement of the capabilities of HEVC and will be deployed in many applications including wireless displays, remote computer desktop access, real-time screen sharing for videoconferencing, and generic video applications in which the video may contain significant portions of graphics, text, and animation.
