N16487, Description of IVC+ Exploration Experiments

This Experiment document includes descriptions of investigations of coding modules in IVC test model 16.0, to be performed for the January 2017 MPEG meeting. The experiment is divided into 6 subtests. In subtest 1, encoder optimization techniques will be explored. In subtest 2, methods for B frame coding will be explored. In subset 3, methods for large block structure will be explored. In subset 4, OBMC will be explored.
