This document discusses video signal property description code points and their combinations that are widely used in production and video content workflows. Video properties and values are usually expressed in "metadata" that can exist across production and distribution workflows. Knowledge of these properties and their combinations has value as content is processed in the end-to-end production-to-distribution workflow chain.

This document contains a list of reported errata items for HEVC, AVC, and Video CICP, for tracking purposes. Some of the items have been confirmed by the JCT-VC and have been agreed to require fixing, while some other items have not yet been confirmed.

This document contains the draft text for changes to the Advanced Video Coding (AVC) standard (Rec. ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10) to specify additional supplemental enhancement information (SEI) messages for content light level information, equirectangular projection, cubemap projection, sphere rotation, region-wise packing, omnidirectional viewport, SEI manifest, and SEI prefix, along with some corrections to the existing specification text.

This working draft amendment is for adding an additional supplemental enhancement information (SEI) message to the Advanced Video Coding standard (Rec. ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10) for specifying a "content light level" SEI message, as is already defined in the High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) standard (Rec. ITU-T H.265 | ISO/IEC 23008-2).

It has been reported that there is an error in the AVC text specification for the recently added levels 6, 6.1, and 6.2 (which were added to support very large picture sizes such as “8K” pictures). The problem is that the current specification requires the decoder to support a 17-bit range of motion vector deltas, which is suggested to be an oversight and is reportedly not supported in the JM reference software.

This proposed draft amendment of the AVC standard (Rec. ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10) specifies an additional Supplemental Enhancement Information (SEI) message for colour remapping information, which enables remapping of the decoded colour samples of the output pictures. The colour remapping information SEI message is already specified in a similar manner in the HEVC standard (Rec. ITU-T H.265 | ISO/IEC 23008-2) and will be defined similarly for AVC.

This draft amendment to the AVC standard adds the specification of a new profile called the Progressive High 10 profile, a new SEI message called the alternative transfer characteristics SEI message, a new transfer characteristics curve known as hybrid log-gamma, a new colour transformation scheme known as ICTCP, and chromaticity-derived colour transformations with variants known as "constant luminance" and "non-constant luminance" transformations.

This proposed draft amendment, prepared by the Joint Collaborative Team on 3D Video Coding (JCT-3V), contains draft text to specify an "alternative depth information" SEI message that indicates that the view components of one output view contain samples of multiple distinct spatially packed constituent pictures.
